Fresh after completion of his upcoming EP, Slow Curve. Nick Holmes dropped by the studio last Sunday to perform on Radio Noir. The session was extremely intimate, and was the first solo performance by Holmes in over a year. In between strikingly beautiful and stripped down versions of the Slow Curve material, track lists were discussed, stories were told, and you can even hear Pat Dougherty refer to Holmes by his real last name.
The EP is scheduled to drop sometime in late July or early August of 2009. It will be independently released, and will feature musicians from Dada Trash Collage and art work by close friends of Holmes.
Holmes mentioned he will be moving to Austin this fall, so look out Texas.
