MUCKY THE DUCKY LIVE ON RADIO NOIR

Hailing from Davis, California, Mucky The Ducky arrived in our studio to broadcast their unique brand of avant-garde soundscapes.

In a matter of moments the floor was covered with musical hoi polloi. The four musicians waded in a sea of bells, whistles, synths, pots, pans, cables, wine bottles, and whatever else they could get their hands on.

In lieu of the traditional format, Mucky The Ducky played a 25 minute set (it will make sense when you listen to the podcast). The session was an abstract song blueprint that led to a lot of improvisation. One by one the musicians added a small piece to an unearthly collage, making each note a piece of the atmospheric puzzle.

The performance was an improvised symphony of powerful drones and sublime dissonance. This is the music dreams hear when they go to sleep.
