All the way from Providence, Rhode Island, Prayers For Atheists is a hybrid of hip-hop, punk, poetry, and politics. The band itself is a freight train of rhythm, energy, and ominous riffs.
Jared Paul is an electric front man, whose brilliant lyrics not only force the listner to think, but motivate them to get organized.
The performance was a punk experience that got full crowd support. In between intense versions of their EP's material, Jared Paul would perform his spoken word in the middle of the audience.
After the show, the band went into the studio to have interview/conversation with Pat Dougherty. The conversation ranged from music to art to politics, and it reached some inspiring topics. It showed that the members of Prayers For Atheists are not only extremely informed but extremely kind human beings. These men are true artists.
